Apocalypse seems to be the new fad. What's your favorite?

As for me, I've always been a huge fan of The Maze Runner series by James Dashner and Gone by Michael Grant. Both have their strengths and weaknesses. The Maze Runner series tops my list because the concept of a virus, created by humanity, causing widespread plague and societal collapse is spot on (before COVID-19, mind you).

Here's a list of some examples: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/4197.Best_Apocalyptic_or_Post_Apocalyptic_YA_Fiction
